PENGARUH PUPUK NITROGEN DAN KALIUM TERHADAP PRODUKSI SERTA KANDUNGAN VITAMIN C PADA BUAH CABAI RAWIT (Capsicum frutescens L.)

Abstract


Effect of Nitrogen and Potassium Fertilizers on the Production and Content of Vitamin C in Rawit Chili (Capsicum frutescens L.). Under the guidance of Abdullah and Bakhtiar Ibrahim.The research aims to: 1) determine the effect of nitrogen and potassium nutrients on production of cayenne pepper 2) the effect of nitrogen and potassium nutrients on vitamin C content in cayenne pepper and 3) determine the effect of nitrogen and potassium nutrients on production and vitamin C content in fruit Cayenne pepper. This research was conducted in Sudiang Raya Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City, which was conducted from June 2020 to October 2020. This research was conducted using a randomized block design (RAK) with the treatment arranged in a two-factor factorial, namely nitrogen fertilizer (0, 200, 250, 300 kg / ha) and potassium fertilizer (0, 100, 150, 200 kg / ha) with the observed parameters, namely plant height, number of productive branches, number of fruits, fruit weight, total production, vitamin c content in cayenne pepper.The results showed that the application of nitrogen fertilizer at the dose tested had no significant effect on the production and content of vitamin C in cayenne pepper. Application of potassium fertilizer at a dose of 0.4 g / polybag has a good effect and can increase the vitamin C content of cayenne pepper with an average vitamin C level of 0.34%. There is an interaction of nitrogen fertilizer dosage 1,2 g / polybag (N3) and potassium 0.4 g / polybag (K1) which has a very good effect on increasing the content of vitamin C in cayenne pepper
