EVALUASI KESESUAIAN LAHAN TANAMAN KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogaea L.) di DESA PADANGLAMPE

Abstract


This study aims to determine the suitability of land for peanut (Arachis Hipogea L.) crops in Padanglampe Village, Ma'rang District, Pangkep Regency. The land survey was carried out using the land unit system method, consisting of compilation of basic data, field exploration, soil description, soil sampling, laboratory analysis and research on the suitability of peanut crop land. This research method is to use FAO carried out by using secondary data such as rainfall data for the last 5 years obtained from the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency of Maros Regency and collection of basic maps such as land use maps, soil type maps, and slope maps obtained from the Regional Forestry Office IV. Makassar. The maps are overlaid, so that you get 10 land units as units of observation. Soil samples were analyzed in the laboratory. The properties analyzed were in accordance with the information obtained. The results of the analysis of land suitability evaluation for peanut plants based on the characteristics of the specified land. The results of the land evaluation show that the actual land suitability on land units 1 S3rfn, land units 2, 3, 5, 8, 11 and 12 have the same actual suitability class groups namely S3fn, land units 6 S3n and land units 9 and 10 have actual classes which is the same namely S3rfnpe. The limiting factors in the 10 land units have almost the same constraints, namely soil drainage, organic c, soil CEC, total N, P205, rock outcrops, surface rocks, slopes and erosion hazards. After repairing the existing 10 land units, there are several land units that are considered potential, namely one very suitable land unit, namely land unit 2.In land units 3, 5, 6, 8 11 and 12 are considered suitable for cultivating and developing peanut plants. land because the potential class is quite suitable and has a large land area.
