EVALUASI STATUS KESUBURAN TANAH PADA LAHAN PERKEBUNAN KAKAO (THEOBROMA CACAO L.) DI DESA LERA, KECAMATAN WOTU, KABUPATEN LUWU TIMUR

Abstract


Cocoa ( Theobroma cacao L.) is a plantation commodity that plays an important role in the economy as one of the third largest foreign exchange earners in Indonesia after oil palm and rubber). So it is necessary to develop more competitive cocoa to increase exports. . This study aims to find out the soil fertility status of the land plantation plant cacao , To determine the parameters of soil fertility which is a limiting factor for land plantation plant cacao , and Making maps of soil fertility status in Lera Village, Wotu District East Luwu Regency . This research is done with method secondary data collection Secondary data is meeting information resource Land available on a wide range agency such as administrative maps , slope maps , type maps soil , usage map recent and related reports _ with research , stage the implementation of making research maps obtained from surveys with the tracking unit used is the independent unit through overlay map. Form unit map land with map administration , map type ground , slope map slopes , usage maps land, land unit maps , and analysis example covering land P2O5 total, total K2 O , organic C , capacity swap cation (CEC) and saturation wet (KB) . The data obtained, both primary data and secondary data, were then adjusted according to the criteria for soil chemical properties according to . The results showed that the status of soil fertility in Wotu District, East Luwu Regency was in the low to moderate criteria status.
