PENGARUH TAKARAN ARANG TEMPURUNG KELAPA DAN BOKASHI PUPUK KANDANG SAPI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN AGLAONEMA LIPSTIK (Aglaonema crispum)

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of coconut shell charcoal and cow manure bokashi on the growth of lipstick aglaonema plants. The research was conducted from April to June 2023 in Manggala District, Makassar City. The tools and materials used in the research were scales, hand sprayers, rulers, writing instruments, aglaonema ornamental plants, planting media, 25 cm x 25 cm polybags, labels, coconut charcoal, and cow manure bokashi. This study used a factorial randomised block design (RAK). The first factor consisted of A0 (20 g per polybag), A1 (20 g per polybag) and A2 (40 g per polybag). The second factor consisted of B0 (without Bokashi), B1 (25 g per polybag), and B2 (50 g per polybag), resulting in 9 experimental units for each treatment, repeated three times, for a total of 27 experimental units. Each experimental unit contained a total of 54 plants. The results showed that the best plant height parameter of 18.69 cm was influenced by 40 g of coconut shell charcoal per polybag. Root length of 15.06 cm and root volume of 6.67 ml were better influenced by the application of 25 g of cow manure bokashi per polybag. The root number parameter showed a better response to the interaction between the dose of cow manure bokashi and coconut shell charcoal. Cow manure bokashi at a dose of 25 g per polybag and coconut shell charcoal at a dose of 20 g per polybag (A1B1) had the highest average root number, which was 8.67.
