PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) DAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN KACANG BUNCIS (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

Abstract


This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and chicken manure on the growth and production of green beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). This study was conducted at the Polbangtan Gowa Campus Land, which took place from April to June 2024. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method consisting of two factors. The first factor is the provision of liquid organic fertilizer consisting of 2 levels, namely POC Nasa 3 ml/liter of water, POC Nasa 6 ml/liter of water. The second factor is the provision of chicken manure consisting of 3 levels, namely 10 tons/ha (1.5 kg/plot), 20 tons/ha (3 kg/plot), 30 tons/ha (4.5 kg/plot). There are 6 treatment combinations, repeated 3 times to obtain 18 experimental units. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, pod length, pod weight/plant, pod weight/plot, and production results. The results of this study indicate that the provision of liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 6 ml/liter of water has a good effect on the length of the pods with an average of 16.18 cm. The provision of chicken manure with 30 tons/ha (4.5 kg/plot) has a good effect on the number of leaves with an average of 60.88, the weight of pods/plant with an average of 429.96 grams, the weight of pods/plot with an average of 3.86 kg, and production results with an average of 25.51 tons/ha. The interaction between the provision of liquid organic fertilizer and chicken manure does not have a good effect on the growth and production of green bean plants.
