RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN TOMAT (Solanum lycopersium L.) PADA BERBAGAI DOSIS PUPUK NPK DAN KOMPOS AZOLLA

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the effect of giving various doses of NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of tomato plants, analyze the effect of giving various doses of azolla compost fertilizer on the growth and production of tomato plants and analyze the effect of the interaction of NPK fertilizer and azolla compost fertilizer on the growth and production of tomato plants. This research method uses a 2-factor factorial pattern Group Random Design (RAK). The dose factor of NPK fertilizer (N) consists of 3 levels, namely: N1= 165 kg/ha (0.4 g/plant), N2= 330 kg/ha (0.8 g/plant), N3= 495 kg/ha (1.2 g/plant) and N4= 660 kg/ha (1.6 g/plant). Azolla compost factor (A) consists of 3 factors, namely: A1=Control, A1= 6 tons/ha (15 g/plant) and A1= 10 tons/ha (25 g/plant). The results showed that the dose of NPK fertilizer 165 kg / ha accelerated the release of flowers on tomato plants. The dose of azolla compost of 6 tons / ha has a better effect on the number of fruits per plant which is 19.42 pieces, fruit weight per plant is 0.46 kg and fruit weight per hectare is 22.84 tons. The compost dose of 10 tons/ha had a better effect on the number of productive branches, which was 4.83. The interaction between the dose of NPK fertilizer and azolla compost has no real effect on the growth and yield of tomato plants.
