PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN WORTEL (Daucus carota L.)

Abstract


This research was conducted in Pattapang Village, Tinggi Moncong District, Gowa Regency. Starting in November 2019 until March 2020. With the aim of knowing the effect of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of carrots. The method used was a randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 5 treatments, namely with a concentration of 0,25 liters of POC / 15 liters of water, a concentration of 0.50 liters of POC / 15 liters of water, a concentration of 0.75 liters of POC / 15 liters of water, a concentration of 1 liter of POC / 15 liters of water and a concentration of 1,25 liters of POC / 15 liters of water. Each treatment consisted of one experimental bed, each of which was repeated three times, so that there were 15 experimental unit beds. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), tuber weight (kg), tuber diameter (cm) and tuber length (cm). The results showed that treatment with a concentration of 0,75 liters of POC / 15 liters of water had the best effect on average plant height, number of leaves and tuber length, whereas treatment with a concentration of 1 liter POC / 15 liters of water had the best effect on average tuber weight and tuber length. carrot tuber diameter.
