PENGARUH KONSENTRASI PGPR (PLANT GROWTH PROMOTING RHIZOBACTERIA) DAN PUPUK KCl TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI PADA TANAMAN TOMAT (Solanum lycopersicum L.)

Abstract


The aims of the study were: 1) to determine the effect of PGPR concentration on growth and production of tomato plants 2) to determine the effect of KCl fertilizer on growth and production of tomato plants 3) to determine the interaction of PGPR concentration with KCl fertilizer application on growth and production of tomato plants. This research was conducted at the Green House of the Faculty of Agriculture, Muslim University of Indonesia. This research will take place in October 2020-January 2021. This research was conducted using a randomized block design (RAK) with the treatment arranged in a factorial manner of two factors, namely the concentration of PGPR (0, 1, 1,25, 1,5 %) and KCl fertilizer ( 0, 150, 200, 250 kg/ha) with the parameters observed were plant height, number of productive branches, number of leaves, flower emergence time, number of fruit, fruit weight, number of production.

The results showed that the administration of PGPR with a concentration of 1,5 % per polybag had a significant effect on the production of tomato plants with an average fruit production of 8.04 tons/ha. The application of Potassium fertilizer at the tested dose had no significant effect on production in tomato plants. There was no interaction between PGPR concentration treatment and Potassium fertilizer treatment.
