PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM DAN PUPUK NPK PADA TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.)

Abstract


Effect of Chicken Manure and NPK Fertilizer on Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This study aims to determine the effect of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of shallots, which was carried out in Borimatangkasa village, Bajeng Barat sub-district, Gowa district using a factorial randomized block design with 2 factors. The first factor is chicken manure with 3 levels, namely A0 (control), A1 (10t ha-1), A2 (20t ha-1) while the second factor is NPK fertilizer with 4 levels, namely P0 (control), P1 (100kg ha-1), P2 (150kg ha-1), P3 (200kg ha-1). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, weight per clump, weight per plot, production per hectare. The results showed that the application of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer did not affect the growth and production of shallots, but the application of 10t ha-1 of chicken manure and 100kg ha-1 of NPK fertilizer tended to give higher growth and production than other treatments.
