PENGARUH PEMBERIAN DOSIS KAPUR DOLOMIT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN BIBIT KAKAO (Theobroma cacao L.) KLON 45

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of dolomite lime dosage on the growth and development of cacao seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.) klon 45. This research was conducted in Lawani Hamlet, Tarengge Village, Wotu District, East Luwu Regency. The study took place from December 2019 to March 2020. The study was in the form of an experiment using a randomized group design (RAK) which consisted of 5 treatments with 3 replications and each treatment consisted of 12 experimental units, so that 180 experimental units were obtained. Application of treatment is dolomite lime with a dose of 0 g (P1) dolomite dose of 20 g / polybag (P2) 40 g / polybag (P3) 60 g / polybag (P4), and 80 g / polybag (P5). Parameters observed were number of leaves, stem diameter, plant height and root volume. The results showed that the administration of dolomite lime had no significant effect on the number of leaves, plant height and root volume but had a significant effect on stem diameter of clone 45 cocoa seedlings. The best dose of dolomite lime for growth of stem diameter of clone 45 cocoa seedlings was 40 grams/polybag, namely 2 ,18 cm.
