RESPON TANAMAN SELADA (Lactuca sativa L) TERHADAP BERBAGAI MACAM PUPUK ORGANIK YANG DITANAM PADA DUA PERIODE TANAM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving various kinds of organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of lettuce plants grown in two planting periods and to determine the most effective organic fertilizer in increasing the growth and yield of lettuce plants grown in two planting periods. This research was conducted in Salujambu Village, Lamasi District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This research took place from April to July 2021. The study used a randomized block design consisting of 5 levels of treatment, namely organic cow manure, goat manure organic fertilizer, chicken manure organic fertilizer, Gamal leaf organic fertilizer, and urea inorganic fertilizer. Each treatment was repeated three times to get 15 experimental units. The results showed that the application of various organic fertilizers to lettuce plants planted in two planting periods had a very significant effect on the fresh weight of the plots of crown and fresh weight of roots per plot in the first planting period and had a very significant effect on plant height, fresh weight of canopy. plots, fresh weight of root plots and leaf area in planting period II.
