PENGARUH JENIS MEDIA TANAM DAN FORMULASI HARA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN SAWI (Brassica rapa L.) YANG DITANAM SECARA HIDROPONIK WICK SYSTEM

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of the type of planting medium, and the type of nutrient formulation as well as the interaction between the type of planting medium and the nutrient formulation on the growth and production of mustard plants grown using a hydroponic wick system. This research was conducted at the Green House, Faculty of Agriculture, Indonesian Muslim University, Makassar City, South Sulawesi. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial pattern of two (2) factors. The first factor is the planting medium which consists of; husk charcoal, cocopeat, and rockwool and the second factor is the nutrient formulation consisting of; AB Mix 1250 ppm/liter of water, Gandasil D 2 grams/liter of water, NPK+Micro 2.5 grams/liter of water. The results showed that the use of rockwool growing media gave the best effect compared to other planting media, the nutrient formulation AB Mix 1250 ppm/liter of water gave the best effect, and the interaction between the planting medium and the nutrient formulation did not have a significant effect on the cultivation of mustard plants using the hydroponic wick system
