PERBANYAKAN JAMUR Trichoderma Sp. PADA BEBERAPA JENIS MEDIA TUMBUH DENGAN METODE TERBUKA DAN TERTUTUP

Abstract


The aim of this study was to determine the propagation of the Trichoderma sp fungus on several types of growing media with the inoculation and overlay method lasting for two months, from September to October 2021. This research was conducted in the form of a 2-factor factorial experiment which was arranged based on a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (CRFD) as follows: Factor 1: Propagation Method consisted of two treatments namely Open Method and Closed Method while Factor 2: Growth Media consisted of four treatments namely: Rice Media, Bran Media, Corn Media, and Corn Rice Media. Based on the results of this study, based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the best media for the growth of Trichoderma mushrooms in terms of the number of Trichoderma spores obtained tended to be higher in the closed method treatment producing the highest number of spores while the media treatment of rice and corn produced the highest number of spores. The average density of Trichoderma spores obtained tended to be higher in the closed method treatment resulting in spore density with rice and corn media treatment producing the highest spore density. The best average spore viability was obtained in closed media of 71.70% in the bran inoculation method. which gives a better effect on the production of Trichoderma sp. compared to other treatments
