PENGARUH PERLAKUAN PUPUK HAYATI BIONEENSIS DAN MEDIA TANAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN MELON (Cucumis melo L.)

Abstract


Melon (Cucumis melo L.) is a horticultural crop with high economic value. The price of melons is usually higher than the price of horticultural crops in general. This brings many benefits to melon farmers or entrepreneurs and improves the economy of Indonesian farmers. melon consumption in Indonesia has increased to 1.34-1.5 kg/capita/year. This research was conducted from April 2022 to June 2022 in Sanrego Village, Kahu District, Bone Regency. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 2 (two) factors, the first was: a dose of biofertilizer Bionensis (P), and the second was: a planting medium (M). There were 6 treatment combinations, each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 18 experimental units. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, flowering age, branching age, fruit weight, and fruit diameter. Observational data were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued with the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT). A bioneensis biofertilizer dose of 40 grams gave the best results on stem diameter with the highest average diameter of 6.48 mm and the number of leaves with the highest average of 28.83 strands. Planting media of soil + 18 kg compost gave the best results for plant height with the highest average of 148.21 cm, the highest average number of leaves of 30.73 pieces, the highest average stem diameter of 6.43 mm, the highest average fruit weight of 963.78 grams and fruit diameter with the highest average of 14.16 cm. The interaction between biofertilizer bioneensis and planting media at a dose of 40 grams and soil + compost 18 kg gave the best results on stem diameter with the highest average stem diameter of 6.83 mm
