RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN SEMANGKA (Citrullus vulgaris) TERHADAP PEMBERIAN Trichoderma harzianum DAN PUPUK NPK MUTIARA
Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the best concentration of Trichoderma harzianum on the growth and production of watermelon plants, knowing the effect of the best dose of Mutiara NPK fertiliser on the growth and production of watermelon plants and knowing the interaction between the concentration of Trichoderma harzianum and the dose of Mutiara NPK fertiliser on the growth and production of watermelon plants. This research was conducted in Bontomanai Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency from April to July 2023. This study used a two-factor factorial Randomised Group Design (RAK) method. The first factor is the concentration of Trichoderma harzianum 0 ml, 3 ml/L water and 40 ml/L water. The second factor is the dose of pearl NPK, namely 0 g/plant, 5g/plant and 10g/plant. There were 9 treatment combinations repeated 3 times so there were 2 experimental units. The parameters observed were leaf area, plant length, leaf length, number of leaves, fruit length, fruit weight and fruit diameter. The results showed that the interaction between the concentration of Trichoderma harzianum and the dose of NPK Pearl given did not significantly affect the growth or yield of watermelon. The concentration of Trichoderma harzianum 40 ml/L water gave effect on the parameters of plant length which was 438.22 cm, number of leaves which was 39.78 strands, fruit length which was 25.78 cm, fruit weight which was 5.03 kg and fruit diameter which was 17.56 cm.
