Abstract


Ornamental plants are non-food horticultural plants that have high aesthetic value and provide a special attraction for people who see them. Orchids are one of the most popular ornamental plants in Indonesia, one of which is the orchid Dendrobium sp. This study aims to determine the effect of concentration of shallot extract, Nasa, and the interaction of both on the growth of orchid seedlings Dendrobium sp. The method used is Completely Randomized Design and data analysis using 5% Tukey’s HSD test est consisting of 2 factors factor shallot extract consisting of 3 levels and POC Nasa factor consisting of 4 factors. The results showed that the concentration of growth regulator of shallot extract in the control treatment had a good effect on the growth of dendrobium sp orchid seedlings shown by longer roots, while the concentration of POC Nasa 20ml / water had a good effect on the growth of dendrobium sp orchid seedlings shown by the number of leaves that tended to be more and there was no interaction between growth regulator of shallot extract and liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of Dendrobium sp orchid seedlings.
