PENGARUH JUMLAH TANAMAN PERLUBANG DAN VARIETAS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN PAKCOY (Brassica rapa L.) PADA SISTEM HIDROPONIK DESAIN NFT

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of the number of plants per hole, varieties, and interactions on the growth and production of pakcoy plants with the NFT hydroponic system. This research used a Randomised Group Design (RAK) with a two-factor factorial pattern. The first factor is the number of plants per hole, which consists of three levels: one plant per hole, two plants per hole, and three plants per hole. The second factor was pakcoy variety, with two levels: Nauli F1 variety and Green variety. The combination of the two factors resulted in six treatments that were repeated three times, resulting in 18 experimental units. Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and consumption weight. The results showed that both the treatment of the number of plants per hole and the treatment of pakcoy varieties had a significant effect on the growth and production of pakcoy plants. The highest plant in the treatment with one plant per hole (P1), reached 64.45 cm, while the Nauli F1 variety (V1) was 65.13 cm. The highest number of leaves in the treatment (P1) reached 44.83 leaves, while (V1) reached 42.89 leaves. The best fresh weight was recorded in (P1), reaching 56.17 grams, while (V1) was 43.76 grams. Consumption weight was also highest in (P1), reaching 36.17 grams, and (V1) reaching 29.68 grams. However, the interaction between the two factors had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and consumption weight in the NFT hydriponic system.
