PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN BERBAGAI JENIS MULSA ORGANIK DAN ANORGANIK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.) DI DATARAN RENDAH

Abstract


This research was carried out in Alaulangkara Hamlet, Laerung Village, Majauleng District, Kab. Wajo. This research was conducted from May 2022 to August 2022. This study aimed to determine the effect of various types of organic and inorganic mulch on the growth and production of shallots in the Lowlands (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was conducted in a randomized block design (RAK) with M0 (control), M1 (banana leaf mulch), M2 (straw mulch), M3 (alang-alang mulch), M4 (plastic mulch), and M5 (sack mulch). ). Each experiment contained six treatments, then repeated three times, so that in total there were 18 research units. The results of this study concluded that the use of black plastic mulch gave the most effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, weight of tuber beds and weight of tubers per hectare.
