UJI EFEKTIVITAS PEMBERIAN PUPUK NPK MUTIARA DAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN MENTIMUN (Cucumis sativus L.)

Abstract


This study aims to study the effectiveness and efficiency of the effect of NPK Mutiara fertilizer doses and chicken manure on the growth and yield of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.), to determine the best dose of NPK Mutiara fertilizer on the growth and yield of cucumber plants and to determine the best dose of chicken manure on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. This study was conducted in Mattiro Ade Village, Patampanua District, Pinrang Regency. Which took place from April to July 2023. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor is the dose of NPK Mutiara Fertilizer consisting of 3 treatment levels, namely 200 kg/ha (3 g/plant), 300 kg/ha (4.5 g/plant), and 400 kg/ha (6 g/plant). The second factor is the dose of Chicken Manure Fertilizer consisting of 3 treatment levels, namely 10 tons/ha (150 g/plant), 20 tons/plant (300 g/plant), 30 tons/ha (450 g/plant). The results showed that the administration of NPK pearl fertilizer and chicken manure had a significant effect on all growth parameters and interacted with the parameters of flowering age, weight and length of fruit. The best dose of NPK pearl fertilizer treatment was 400 kg/ha (6 g/plant), and chicken manure 30 tons/plant (450 g/plant).
