ANALISIS STATUS KESUBURAN TANAH PADA TANAMAN KAKAO (Theobroma cacao L.) DI KECAMATAN HERLANG KABUPATEN BULUKUMBA

Al Irsyam, Saida Saida, Anwar Robbo

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the status of soil chemical properties in cocoa (Theobroma cacao L) plants in Herlang District, Bulukumba Regency. The research method used was field and descriptive surveys, field surveys and making maps as work maps in research obtained from administrative maps, soil type maps, slope maps and land use maps. Map of land units as a reference for determining observation points or sampling. The results showed that soil fertility became a chemical characteristic in soil fertility status, namely Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) for all land units with moderate criteria except for land units with 6 high criteria. Base Saturation (KB) of all land units with low criteria except for land units 2 and 6 with medium criteria, C-Organic content for all land units is low except for land units 2 6 with medium criteria, Phosphor content for all land units with medium criteria except for land units with 6 criteria high, Potassium for all land units 2 and 3 criteria is moderate, while land unit 5 criteria is very low and the pH in the soil shows all land units criteria is slightly acidic. Soil fertility status on cocoa cultivation land based on the results of analysis of soil chemical properties can be categorized as low criteria with an area of 5589.135 Ha and medium criteria of 6.742181 Ha. Soil fertility status on cocoa cultivation land based on the results of analysis of soil chemical properties can be categorized as low criteria with an area of 5589.135 Ha and medium criteria of 6.742181
