ANALISIS STATUS KESUBURAN TANAH PADA LAHAN PERTANAMAN JAGUNG (Zea mays L.) DI DESA TURU ADAE KECAMATAN PONRE

Abstract


This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility, the parameters of soil fertility status which are a factor and to make a map of the soil fertility status of corn plantations in Turu Adae Village, Ponre District, Bone Regency. The scope of this research is to analyze the nutrient content and determine the criteria for soil properties in the corn planting area in Turu Adae Village, Ponre District, Bone Regency. The research method used is descriptive method, namely field surveys and soil tests in the laboratory. Field surveys by collecting primary and secondary data then make working maps obtained from overlaying administrative maps, soil type maps, slope maps, land use maps and land unit maps. taking samples of map overlay results from 22 land units, selected land that is actively used by farmers, namely corn planting land and found 6 land units, samples that have been taken are air-dried then mashed and then analyzed for chemical properties including pH, CEC, KB, P and K Analysis of the status of soil fertility on corn planting land in Turu Adae Village, Ponre District, Bone Regency has low soil fertility status with an area of 2.726 Ha. The parameter of soil fertility is a limiting factor in the status of soil fertility in Turu Adae Village, Ponre District, Bone Regency, namely the cation exchange capacity which is dominated by low criteria, so to improve the cation exchange capacity, the content of phosphorus, potassium and c-organic is increased.
