PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT F2 JAMUR TIRAM PUTIH (Pleurotus ostreatus) PADA BERBAGAI JENIS MEDIA TANAM DAN TAKARAN DEDAK

Abstract


This study aims to determine the best media for the growth of mycelium F2 white oyster mushroom seeds, to determine the best dose of bran for the growth of mycelium F2 white oyster mushroom seeds and to determine the interaction between the type of media and the best dose of bran for the growth of mycelium of white oyster mushroom F2 seeds. This research was conducted in the form of a completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial pattern of 2 factors, the first factor was the growth medium for white oyster mushroom F2 seeds, namely husk media, corn cobs, sawdust and cardboard. While the second factor is the dose of bran, namely 200 grams, 250 grams, 300 grams and 350 grams. The combination of treatments from these two factors resulted in 16 treatment combinations, each treatment obtained 3 bottles of media combination so that 48 experimental units were obtained. Parameters observed were mycelium growth time (days), vertical and horizontal mycelium distribution (cm), mycelium density. The results showed that the best medium for the growth of white oyster mushroom F2 seedlings, namely husk media with a dose of 350 grams of bran, could make the growth of white oyster mushroom F2 seeds better and grow faster especially on the mycelium density parameter.
