INTENSITAS SERANGAN HAMA PENGGEREK BATANG (Scirpophaga innotata W.) DAN WALANG SANGIT (Leptocorisa oratorius Fabricius) PADA VARIETAS PADI (CIHERANG, INPARI 43, INPARI 48 DAN CILIWUNG) DI KABUPATEN MAROS

Abstract


This study aims to determine the intensity of attacks by stem borers and weeds on rice plants. The research was carried out using a survey method by direct field observation by identifying pests and the intensity of pest attacks on rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) at the Food Crops Protection Agency and Horticulture, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Observations were made twice with an interval of one month. Sampling was carried out by recording planting data which included rice plots and varieties, land area and types of pests on the land. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the highest intensity of stem borer attacks was on the Ciherang variety with an intensity of 37.31%, while the lowest intensity of stem borer attacks was on the Inpari 48 variety with an intensity of 1.06%. The highest attack intensity of the weed bug was found in the Inpari 43 variety with an intensity of 9.32%, while the lowest intensity of the attack by the stem borer was found in the Ciliwung variety with an intensity of 1.77%.
