IDENTIFIKASI MORFOLOGI DAN UJI PELARUT FOSFAT BAKTERI RHIZOSFER TANAMAN KACANG TUNGGAK (Vigna Unguiculata L.)
Abstract
Morphological Identification and Solvent Test of Bacterial Phosphate Isolates From the Rhizosfhere of Cowpea Plant (Vigna Unguiculata L.). This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the morphological characteristics of the bacteria from the cowpea rhizosphere, carrying out the solvent test for bacterial isolates from the rhizosphere of cowpea plants, conducting the rhizobium test on yeast extract mannitol agar (YEMA) media with indicators congo red (CR) and bromine thymol blue (BTB). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Microbiology, Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases. This research took place from January to November 2020. Identification of bacterial colony morphology includes colony color, shape, edge, elevation and consistency, phosphate solvent test was carried out using phycovskaya media, rhizobium bacteria testing was tested on YEMA+CR and YEMA+BTB media. The results of this study indicated that 12 isolates had different morphological characteristic. From the phosphate dissolution test, only 4 isolates were obtained which had the potential the to dissolve phosphate, the highest dissolution index of the 4 isolates obtained was seen in 19 isolates with an average IPF of 0,71. Rhizobium bacteria test on cowpea rhizosfhere bacteria isolates using YEMA congo red and bhromine thymol blue media, no isolates have been identified as rhizobium bacteria.
