PENGARUH KONSENTRASI DAN INTERVAL PEMBERIAN PLANT GROWTH PROMOTING RHIZOBACTERIA (PGPR) EKSTRAK AKAR BAMBU TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.)

Abstract


The aims of this study were to determine the effect of the concentration of bamboo root extract PGPR on the growth and yield of shallots, to determine the effect of intervals of bamboo root extract PGPR on the growth and yield of shallots and to determine the interaction between concentration and interval of bamboo root extract PGPR on growth. and onion yields. This research was conducted in Marioriaja Village, Marioriwawo District, Soppeng Regency which took place from April to June 2023. This study used a two-factor factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor was the PGPR concentration, namely 5 ml/L, 7.5 ml/L and 10 ml/L. The second factor is the interval for giving PGPR, which is once a week and once every two weeks. There were 6 treatment combinations repeated 3 times so that there were 18 experimental units. The results showed that the interaction between the concentration and interval of PGPR administration had no significant effect on the growth or yield of shallot plants. The PGPR concentration of 10 ml/L had an effect on the parameter number of tubers, namely 9.92 tubers and the dry weight of tubers per plot, namely 706.33 gram/m2. The interval of giving PGPR once every 2 weeks had an effect on the plant height parameter, which was 45.02 cm and the tuber dry weight per plot, which was 709.22 gram/m2.
