EFEKTIVITAS SINERGIS AGEN HAYATI PGPR DAN POC TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TOMAT DALAM TRANSFORMASI PERTANIAN INOVATIF BERBASIS HAYATI

Abstract


Tomato is a high-value horticultural crop with consistent market demand and nutritional benefits. This study aimed to assess the synergistic effectiveness of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) as bio-based agricultural inputs in improving the growth and yield of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.). A factorial randomized complete block design was applied, combining four concentrations of POC (0, 40, 50, and 60 mL/L) with three concentrations of PGPR (10, 12.5, and 15 mL/L), resulting in 12 treatment combinations replicated three times.The results demonstrated that POC at 60 mL/L significantly improved plant height (121.10 cm), number of leaves (18.71), and earlier flowering (25.54 days), while PGPR at 12.5 mL/L enhanced the number of productive branches (5.42), fruit count (21.04), and fruit weight per plant (546.78 g). The best performance was observed under the combination of POC 60 mL/L and PGPR 12.5 mL/L, showing a synergistic effect on all observed variables. These findings support the role of organic and biological fertilization as an innovative strategy for sustainable tomato cultivation, particularly relevant in the transformation toward environmentally friendly, bio-based agricultural systems.
